“Once again, we see Iran and the United States enter peace negotiations, announce a deal, and then watch it fall apart. There is a reason. The Iranian regime is not seeking genuine peace. Its strategy is to prolong negotiations until domestic political pressure causes the Trump administration to abandon its original objectives and settle for an exit that leaves the terrorist regime in place to rebuild its strength and restore its ability to threaten the region and the world. This is why we must pray. Pray that God will give our President and our national leaders wisdom and discernment. Pray for the protection of the men and women of our military. And pray for the people of Iran, that God would give them courage, wisdom, and strength to break free from the grip of the Islamic regime. Above all, remember that "the kingdom is the LORD's, and He rules over the nations" (Psalm 22:28). God is never surprised by world events, and "the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" (James 5:16 NKJV).”
